Emmett O'Malley

Emmett O'Malley is Co-Founder and President of Client Services at Meridian. He works directly with professional and collegiate athletes as a trainer, adviser, and advocate, helping them connect on-court improvement to long-term career growth.

Since entering professional basketball in 2023, Emmett has trained and supported players across the NBA, WNBA, EuroLeague, and NCAA. His approach combines high-level skill development, strategic guidance, and a deep understanding of the personal and professional challenges athletes face throughout their careers.

Before founding Meridian, Emmett served as a deputy director at the African American Policy Forum, where he worked alongside Kimberlé Crenshaw and helped negotiate and oversee millions of dollars in book deals, media partnerships, and public initiatives. He graduated cum laude from Vassar College in 2019 and is the author of a forthcoming novel.

At Meridian, Emmett helps athletes align their development, representation, and long-term vision into a single, cohesive plan.
